I started watching this last night my little sister told me about it lmao it's pretty entertaining not gonna lie also pretty dumb at times like a lot of that young adult targeted stuff is. Also the kid that played Georgie in It is in this. Anyone else here check it out? It's a decent show, a few levels above mid for netflix I'd say.
After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father's death.
Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke
Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke
Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke
Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke
Petrice Jones as Scot Cavendish
Laysla De Oliveira as the "well lady" of KeyHouse
Griffin Gluck as Gabe
Is this show a horror? I want to watch 'cause it's giving me lite Haunting of Hill House vibes but all the teenagey drama has me not wanting to watch

Def not a horror at all, honestly it doesn’t focus too much on like high school or relationship teenage drama like a lot of CW stuff does but the entire show is skewed towards a teenage audience. It is a fun and entertaining watch tho
Looks s***ty tbh, I've read the books and they look miles better than this adaption, Gonna pass on this one
Connor Jessup is really talented, I saw him recently in American Crime season 2 and I was blown away by his performance.

The older brother right? Yeah he’s actually good which helps since the others are kind of ok to bad in this

Are you serious? Most of it is teenage drama it honestly seems like the keys & that plot are secondary up until the last 2 episodes. They find these all mighty keys and what do they decide to do with them? High school s***. One of the teens uses the head key which lets you go inside your own mind and plant s*** in there like books and you instantly know everything limitless style and what does he do with that? He throws in a f***ing book about the city they just moved to so he can impress some girl 🤦🏼♂️ They then find arguably the most powerful key that lets you make anybody do anything you tell them and this key is used in ONE scene throughout the whole series where the teen girl gets back at the high school bully by making her rub food on herself and is then never used again even when it would’ve been extremely useful in a certain dire situation towards the end of the series. Idk man, it was a cool concept it just felt like the show didn’t know what it wanted to be

Oh it's def teenage drama mostly I just meant it doesn't get bogged down by the teenage stuff a lot of shows like on the CW focus on like their everyday high school or relationship stuff, and while that stuff is def all still there it just doesn't consume the majority of the runtime, or at least it didn't feel like it did to me.
also at your point about the music box key, they really never even tried to use that for anything serious. Show was a mess but I was entertained
