Netflix has really ruined their rep for high brow stuff in recent yrs cus even seeing chazelles name I was hesitant to click

Plus ive been learning french for two yrs but very far from perfect so the bilingual dialogue helps my brain in practice plus it’s very similar to how people actually use the two languages where I stay

God this was terrible

I’ve only watched to ep 4. since because I’m busy with uni work but it seemed to be just as good past ep 2, some of the shots aren’t as good but the storyline and music element is still captured really well.

Why didn’t you like it? Seen some people saying this too but then people who loved it, from 1 episode in and seeing the trailer I can see why people would love it but can’t see why people hate it yet

But I’m also kind of a sucker and a basic b**** when it comes to that zoomed in, steady cam, shakey, moving camera look, my brain always finds that cool

It was good but it’s slow. Netflix didn’t promote this at all. The rollout was A24 level bad.
