I nevr seen sum1 fumble a career that hard
First listen was background music as I play sekiro so I’m probably gonna give it another chance.. cool album but it feels like net himself is the worst aspect on some songs. He gets lost between voices and impressions and sounds too much like osama and che at times. But with that being said I was never a net fan yet I can admit that he’s kinda evolving on here
Production is elite, up there with the best produced rage tapes imo. Sequencing cool as well, didn’t feel like it dragged at all.
With all this said tho ngl I still wouldn’t put it on the level of like encore or psykotic but that’s not a knock those r just insanely consistent tight projects that r more groundbreaking in the context of their release
not sure how encore was groundbreaking?
Encore was a pack of ass and I liked RIB
I mean I liked it but it was just more of the same rage s***
bafk is a cult classic and uniquely his sound
not sure why it got a bad reception, it’s a studio quality album of his og sound
he just doesn’t do rage as good as che or osama, I think to keep up with them he has to build his own sonic landscape again
idk trap house 2016 pretty crazy
@FOREVA wya … ts peak
the “i’m gon drown” refrain on lil bieber is so good
i hope his next project continues this sound
First half of this album is very good. Nice work Mr. Spend
second half better imo, especially that closing run
@FOREVA wya … ts peak
never been big on nett bro (pause)
i‘ll give this a spin soon though
this going down as a UG classic
The kid went stupid
As much as people wanna say this is like, brain rot music, I think as a guy who’s a bit older than most of his fans, this still has a certain appeal.
It’s aggressive music that’s still fun, and if you’re intently listening you can really hear him growing as an artist and a rapper, and he’s becoming more inventive, flowing with more confidence instead of just leaning into the vocal stims and energy
Would still say it’s hard for outside people to fit in his world though, YB had a hard verse but it doesn’t really Mesh like a verse from Xav or Che would
Nett rage vs che rage
I really dislike che’s music but that song he did with Chucky was insane
