• he sounds very natural speaking about it. That was my first thought. But he most likely told this to his lawyer, to the cops, to the judge,... Like it's far from his first time telling the story.

• you can tell he doesn't think he did something wrong. He thinks she did cause she cheated and lied. He only see the wrong in what she did.
