OooThe only thing artist should be worried about with Ai now is company type art. S*** like those ugly ass doordash commercials or generic looking Kroger or Google images are made so simple and ugly because they don’t want to hire artists. It’s cheaper to use that garbage and make people replaceable rather than actually hire a unique artist. No musician should be worried at all.
This will hopefully hold true for our generation but the youth gonna be on a completely different wave

you dont need to understand one instantiation of something to implement it yourself. planes dont use the same mechanisms of flight as birds
google's latest language model has nothing in common with the architecture of the brain and is out here explaining jokes and solving math word problems lol
also just because we dont fully understand something right now doesn't mean that will be the case forever. we many not even need to fully understand the fine grained details of how the brain implements intelligence, just the general algorithms it uses
