hate when artists add anniversary bonus tracks of songs that weren’t even from the original album’s sessions
like wym this is a recent (2026) re-recording of a self-titled (2014) album session for the 20th anniversary of Bday (2006)
Nicki did this for The Pinkprint (a bunch of Queen era loosies with one TPP era feature) and Beam Me Up Scotty (TPP era soundcloud singles with a few recently recorded songs), and i recall Big Sean and 2 Chainz doing this as well
i’m all for dropping old songs on DSPs, but it’s weird to me to group them with a different album’s anniversary

The visuals, I don’t even know what to think anymore to be completely honest. But something definitely happened to act III behind the scenes. Not doing all of this for DIL but randomly starting with B'Day while in the middle of the trilogy doesn't scream "this was the plan all along”.
