Seems like a new trend in rap. I've noticed a lot of that on recent albums. Can't say I'm a fan. 2 minute songs are very strange.

I was hoping Big Krit was not gonna fall into this trend of making songs that are 1+ minute and 2+ minutes long. Damn.

I'll still check the album out, but man...I would've loved some fully developed fleshed out songs from him.

I don't mind a 2 minute song but I prefer longer songs. Vince Staples is famous for his last three albums being 38 minutes, 22 minutes, and 22 minutes respectively. I think for an artist like KRIT, he makes longer songs and like you said, it getting on the trend of shorter songs. We'll see how it plays out
