Nahhhhh, I’m sweating right now
Details of the Burial-XL release have LEAKED:
-title: Dreamfear
-February 9th, 2024 release date
-may not be an album because the price from the retail listing suggests it’s for a release that’s smaller in scope

12 inch so it’s most likely not an album
Hopefully it’s at least more than 2 songs though

I’m a vinyl noob; what’s the standard vinyl size for albums?

average is about 5 inches
If it's actual electric music count me in but I don't want that.. low-fi or whatever you call that music

So LPs (long-plays) are also usually 12 inches in diameter, but when a vinyl is an album it’s designated as an “LP”, or an “EP” if it’s that instead.
Usually when a vinyl is designated as a 12”, that means it’s just a single with an A-side and B-side, or at most a very very short EP with 3-4 songs.
Since this listing says 12” and not LP, its most likely not an album
That’s height (I think?), the inch measurement you’ll see on a listing is for diameter

Ahh that makes sense.
I googled “5 inch vinyl” and it showed me a bunch of tiny vinyl records

12 inch is an LP though
if you call something a 12”, it’s more likely a single. $18.99 sounds about right for the price nowadays unfortunately
