Yep. Whole song completely copied Clearest Blues structure but I think that’s their best song and this is now one of their best so it works lol

Yeah I also think that’s their best song. No one does dramatic moody crescendoes like the Scottish

Just got around to listening to this and think it’s their best work. Chvrches have a really nice sound but a serious tendency to have repetition within their songs and never go outside of the box in terms on structure or sound, so I get the hate, and this album doesn’t really address those issues at all, but it’s super tidy and consistent.
