Nah itās perfect as is without Doja
Itās like a Cleveland Ohio anthem with everyone on it
Disagree. This album has more variety which is better for most people. If you prefer that trap/ aggressive rap style from cudi then you will probably enjoy insano more. The majority of cudis fanbase enjoys his more melodic and psychedelic songs tho and this project has more of those.
Finally you say some on point stuff
The last verse on Wow gets my in my feels each time
Told the devil, "Wait a minute, I ain't ready" (uh)
Anyone feel hopeless? You're at war
And I'm sittin' while I roll one, furthermore
Realest brotha in the cold, watch me surfin' (yeah)
Heaven knows I'm just a soul on his search to find his home
Know my angels got me, yeah
Drinkin', playin' sad songs, somethin' strange is goin' on
Somethin' strange is goin' on
Seen the devil tryna creep up on me, dawg
And I got nowhere else to go, swimmin' all alone
And I'm stickin' to the code, don't feelin' low
I'm twisted, all up in my dome, but see, I'll make it on my own
See, I'm feelin' strong, I got my drink, I got my pounds
Rock and roll it 'til I'm heaven bound l, 'til then it's goin' down
Made a playlist/album of my favorites between the two albums to play when Iām not just playing both full albums.
Often, I have these dreamz
Superboy
Freshie
Animate
Funky Wizard Smoke
Rager Boyz
All my life
Mr coola
Everybody Like
I just wanna get
Hit the streetz in my nikes
Electrowavebaby
Chunky
Blue sky
I could listen to that on loop everyday.
Swear to Christ Cudi transported back to his mixtape days & found his flows again. Unbelievable. You can see it all on tracks from INSANO & NITRO MEGA. For years I would listen to tracks like the below & think āI wish he would flow like this againā
and he did
Gotta admit that I find the overall consistency of MEGA to be below par. There's some real mid songs. Not great, but not bad. Not mad they're out, but like they're definitely suited only for a "deluxe" release of an album.
Or back in the day, it woulda been so cool for Mega to be a separate entity (bc its obvioisly a diff vibe) but a mixtape dropped on Datpiff. Moonman s*** woulda been the most fire Datpiff deep cut

Yea this the most 08 era Cudi music we've gotten since then

Moon man s*** is better than any song on INSANO except Nikes on my feet

I am sorry but Moon Man & that Pusha track were both not it, those hooks are poopy imo
Idk man this album feels so much better to me then the past few releases. Insano was good but something still felt off to me. Songs like Superboy, I Just Wanna Get, Chunky, and the Chip features just make this feel like a classic Cudi album.
