Luke! I'm glad you enjoy Kid Cudi, but I'm asking you to be real with the readers of this post and most of all: be real with yourself.

If Kid Cudi drops 40+ songs on one album (with deluxe yeah I don't care), then we all know there is not a chance all of these songs will be very enjoyable. Even in 2009 this would have been a challenge.

And I don't mean to dunk on Kid Cudi with my post in any way, but we're talking about 40+ songs here.

I can tell he is just trying to please everyone by having every sound and style on this album instead of making something concise and well put together

This is very valid! I understand Cudi's music may be a mixed bag to most people but for myself, he doesn't really have any weak songs in his discography outside of Afterwards, The Return of Chip Douglas, WAIT! and Seance Chaos. Due to my appreciation for almost all of Cudi's music, I have reason to believe that I will end up enjoying almost everything on INSANO.

I believe the standard album will still contain around 23 songs as planned, with the 3/4 deluxe editions potentially adding an extra 4/5 songs each. Cudi has mentioned that outside of the original leaked album, he has tweeted about two large recording sessions which have contributed to this project since the start of the year. That gives me reason to believe there will be more variety on here than I previously expected. Only time will tell but I have faith that the quality won't drop below "pretty good"

All of this to say I wish he would just drop a 16-20 track album this time round and call it a day. The length is inevitably going to affect replay value and appreciation for certain songs

The 40+ songs is just the deluxes . The regular album will just have 20 I believe
