Really cool watching elements from internet rap get tied closer and closer to regional spaces. Feel like this is the next step of whats to come for street rap. Being able to propel yourself through the seams of the internet while being able to touch the streets at the same time. Takes very specific types of artist. These types of waves happen by accident sometimes but what's happening in the DMV feels deliberate. After years of having internet rappers from all over the world use punch in flows it makes sense for artist in the DMV to get some deserved flowers in these more underground/internet rap spaces.

aye moe the way I just laughed lmaoooo

  • Jun 13, 2024

Imma dive into this. We really need local scenes to start popping again. Detroit, Memphis, and Milwaukee are showing that you can blow up organically through the internet. Can't wait to see what this can lead to

The DMV something different man. So glad I got hip to the scene these niggas hard
