idk if it was made before pop's death though, if not then this argument can be flipped the other way too
That s*** was made while he was alive
There a snippet of him the studio wit swizz with the money instrumental playing
Low key I don’t blame them. They probably heard the final version and said hell no. The verse wasn’t intended for DMX originally.
Yes it was
All of this commentary and the album hasn’t even been out as long as it’s runtime lol

lmaoo crybabies
Yes it was
DMX literally said this in the drink champs interview. He heard it and asked if he could use it after Pop died.
Denaun from D12
Em get that fool on a hook man. He can f***ing sing.

U right not for dmx
But it was for this beat is what I’m saying
Cool hearing moneybagg on another style but f***ing rap your ass off on a dmx album. Jesus. Nigga been underwhelming this whole year

Oh yeah. I agree then. I thought u meant he collaborated with X on it.
Letter To My Son
This is a great collection of tracks, just wish it felt more like a DMX album. Didn't like how X had the last verse on like the first 4 tracks, but they were still great tracks. Also wish Swizz shut his mouth
If anyone says that this is trash or ass, they haven't listened to Undisputed. This is leagues better and I'm glad this was the parting gift X left us. It's a shame he wasn't here to see its release because he sounded so excited about its release. Yes the mixing could have been better, but I'm just glad to hear X one last time
i don't blame swizz and everyone involved here for the lack of pop's verse
im not a fan of how pop's music has been handled after his passing
Album overall based off my first impression is a 6.
It would be a 7 if the first half was a little stronger but man that dated Swizz Beatz production is really the bane of this album. Really hurts it overall.
The second half of the album with Take Control, Walking In The Rain and Letter To My Son is legitimately great though and the overall saving grace of the album. X shines best when the album kind of mellows out and kind of just lets him do him.
Letter To My Son was the perfect last song to cap X's career. While I don't think this album lived up to the expectation, I can find peace in seeing how beautiful the grand finale was.
Rest in peace X. I'm glad you're no longer in pain.

they removed the track an removed jada's verse from the nas an jay track
The album didn't really feel like an album, wonder how much of it was really done prior. But either glad to hear new X vocals. RIP
