But Kendrick fans always on some elitist s***. I'm surprised this the last two pages have gon w/o that much pushback.
I think it just boils down to subject matter.
Drake similar to Jay can rap about his riches, his goons street stories and love life every year and make it sound nice and never get tiring.
Kendrick on the other hand is not able to do this really. he's an artist who needs to talk about something he's currently going through and he never wants to rehash an idea.

yeah I said this in another thread. Drake is flashy with his bars, which is why someone like Lupe a lyrical mc can appreciate it. it takes skill and Drake rn is still in his prime. he can drop qoutables for days. only thing Drake really lacks in is songwriting that has deeper messaging but I cant fault him because he simply raps about his life. Kendrick is not really a person you can throw on at a party or bump in the whip all the time cause his music doesn't call for that. he's more simple with his rhymes and it's the overall message that takes precedence than the bars.
