I surprisingly run this back more than what’s next
same, whats next a little too repetitive for me personally. could grow on me tho.
The “Sins” part
😭
Ok. The Wants & Needs hook is the his catchiest hook since....In My Feelings?
Also that song is an actual 10/10. Both verses, hook, beat, and 6ix tag. Sounds best in the whip

I’m in love with two girls at one time
2012 vibes
Crazy how this thread has like three times the replies that the DLDT thread has to date...
Seems like overall people really feeling these songs over last years material
Very Interesting...

DLDT also had so many songs KTT2 fam had heard before. Really only 3 songs we never heard before.
Also think us being in vaccine season as opposed to the heat of the pandemic switches moods

To be fair, the DLDT discussion was separated between two sxns since Drake & Music had their own threads whereas it was joint custody this time
The music sxn thread had 717 pages

Ah makes sense
wants and needs... s*** is perfect
i feel like drake having a more nonchalant delivery fits the comfort around wants and babys rapid delivery and drop in octave fits the stress around needs
that extra depth really made this my favorite track out of the 3. LPF will probably be #1 on the weekdays though lol
Just realized this the first and only Drake project that’s a sequel
Was thinking about this earlier today too lol
The “Sins” part

What’s Next
crazy how simple the What’s Next beat is
when the artist is a master of what they do, less can always be more
when the artist is a master of what they do, less can always be more
Like the Not Around beat
so simple, so fire
when the artist is a master of what they do, less can always be more
