I agree - The Weeknd is the perfect example of just taking the bull by the horns and exploiting the radio silence from all other competitors. I think Drake has delayed the project like 2 or 3 times now, right? Maybe the rationale is if he’s done it a few times already he might as well do it once more
And I generally agree with the ‘lack of hype’ stuff — but this is Drake, like. Mfers gonna listen no matter he drops the album tomorrow or in the summer

I don’t think drake is delaying as much cause of corona, but for example, it’s gonna be a bad look if Kendrick doesn’t drop for another 3-4 years and it’s not a massive upgrade from damn
