May 12th is Mother's Day and also Whitney Alford's Birthday.

It's also basically the last reasonable time to have a final say in this beef (ignoring the endless subliminal we're going to get from both of them in future tracks for years to come) + especially considering the fact on Tuesday "Not Like Us" will be crowned a number 1 song on the Hot 100.

• Lyrics in the sticky verse paired with dot doing a sticky dub. I always felt like that seemed odd…
• There were a few hints and clues we found from the IAABT last year like during the wardrobe changes that pretty much alluded to this (the 20v1)
• obviously red button and really just scary hours 3 in general

Probably some others I’m leaving out but that’s a short synopsis

Couple of notable things:

• drake hasn’t liked a single thing on IG since Monday. He usually likes at least 5-6 things a day and follows a couple of people too.
• we’ve only gotten one IG story this week which alluded to the beef and essentially drake crashing out (that’s how I took it?)
• HP6 alludes to not being finished with this at all and just wants to get to the truth (I took this as even if drake has to do it himself)
• TM Freestyle alluded to making sure Kendrick sees this through and I don’t think Drakes satisfied with that sentiment yet
• AK interview with DJ Hed earlier this week was really awkward and almost seemed like a temp check
• Drake hasn’t had the element of surprise once this whole beef aside from HP6 which felt off script anyways (this feels purposeful?)
• there’s a ton of Easter eggs in the FM video that either are going unanswered or there’s always been a bigger plan
• we keep finding clues that prove he’s known this was coming since at least HNVM

I have no clue what drakes doing or what his next move is. These are just my observations.

igy though, the fundamental of who cares and just rap back stands tall. he tried it with THP6 and was clearly expecting a Kendrick reply, but it never came.

yeah Signal is a messaging app that has groupchats so could be that which they use - but kinda crazy he'd be back in after he was spouting s*** about Drake a few posts back.

idk what to believe though, @Real definitely had contacts + @TheElusiveOne must actually know who he is considering Real replied about things but didn't acknowledge the "J" call. But Elusive got the call wrong last night + Real has basically been calling Elusive a fraud / fake insider this whole time, and Real's narrative is that Drake is done and wants a break.

AK and other influencers clearly hinting that "something" exists as another track and last night Kai was hinting some s*** + AK was late on stream so maybe plans changed, but those guys would probs do/say anything for views.

imo internally OVO must just be debating if it's worth dropping another song - I definitely think it is, this is a loss rn with the success Not Like Us is seeing. In the long run it'll be a shame if people remember this as a definitive Drake loss, rather than being one of those things which people will debate about forever (which is what I thought it would be initially tbh)

Also, my name doesn’t start with a J. I replied to that post because he was trying to threaten me, not because he knows who I am.

I’m not sure how Drake could really sway public opinion at this point, even if he were to prove Kendrick was guilty of domestic abuse I feel like the public reaction wouldn’t give him the W
