    Drake 100% planted the items Kendrick used for his cover art. Here’s a breakdown of the video of the items he once possessed & a snapshot of The Mark NYC’s hotel lobby CCTV that surfaced.
    The laptop in the video is a Panasonic CF-31 from 2012 and the user clearly recorded this video on an older device, probably to avoid being traced easier. Besides the items from the cover, they included a Brooklyn newspaper from 5/8/24, some Toronto souvenirs and a bag from Holt Renfrew which is a department store in Yorkville, Toronto.
    It was recorded on the rooftop of a building by DUMBO in Brooklyn. It is in the general area of Kendrick’s penthouse.
    The CCTV snapshot is from the lobby of The Mark hotel in NYC at 3:19am on 1/22/23. Drake stayed here for his Apollo Theater show on 1/21/23 and 1/22/23. Some of these items like the jewelry receipt and medicine didn’t exist yet. Two people in the photo are one of his security guards on the left and the same dude who wore Pharrell’s jewelry in the Family Matters video on the right (OVO shirt).
    Drake went to Popular Jewelry in Chinatown on 7/17/23 before one of his IAAB tour shows. The name on the receipt is his stylist, Drew Ferguson.
    Nadine Ghosn’s business card is included in the photo. She made a bone chain for Drake that he wore to his show on 10/6/23.

    you might be right, he could be alluding that the photo he posted is from some unrelated damning video for drake (given he mentions Jimmy wouldnt be proud of that night) and also saying "yeah I got the items from here at a later date"

    You're missing that Drake stayed at the same hotel in July for his NY stop on the It's All A Blur Tour. Everything adds up. The items are real.

    And none of these answer why he wants to get his lawyer and go to court when Drake never claimed they were stolen...
