Bidnessyall might not remember but Kendrick was down bad (according to the internet) when Drake responded twice and Drake stans were extra cocky.
everyone seems to have different perspectives on this - yes the Drake stans were super cocky but all I remember was generally speaking people were saying "Push Ups is good, let Kendrick respond" oh and "Taylor Made Freestyle is a crime against humanity" was the other common take online - hate the back and forth "omg we had it so bad" narrative stans are trying to spin up

I genuinely don’t this take because what is he supposed to do lol. There is a massive disconnect with people realizing they just wanted Kendrick to win. Drake haters / KDot stans and clearly it worked in his favor.
After all that how can Drake even respond to serious accusations like that? If he does nobody cares clearly & if he did nothing it’s “why is me not addressing anything?”
He clearly no matter what couldn’t win from the start cause everybody had it out for him. It was a dud beef just got some new music out of it from both sides lol.

My view is that why is he going to be all upbeat about the content he is rapping about. It is rather serious to be accusing somebody of that. Not to mention the internet been going wild with that topic against him for a while. It just blew up cause Kendrick chose to say it in a song. He’s taking it serious/tired of hearing about it is my interpretation.
Not to mention what is he supposed to do at that point in time? He dropped a track but Kendrick dropped instantly sure it looks good in the moment. The equivalent of just being louder in an argument thinking your winning. So how is he supposed to even respond if he just gets overshadowed instantly. So again it leads him to just be fed up with it cause wtf is the point?
I disagree about people wanting to see him lose because that is true. A majorty of people like I said Dot stans/Drake haters just teamed up. Kendrick was a worthy opponent and personally what he did was cheap but it worked and people ate it up.
