Also, you're a f***ing dumbass for thinking those GNX songs would both sonically and lyrically fit in the context of that album lmao talk about grasping at straws

Luther is literally just another version of Loyalty/Love lol

“Kendrick stuff all sounds the same” idk about that, dude clearly tries to maintain artistic integrity resulting in the occasional disappointment (MM), but lyrically and sonically each album is distinct. Drake seems to intentionally homogenize his releases, it’s all one big playlist soup. Oh I forgot the Drake fans on this site are about as bad as trump supporters in how instead of acknowledging the reality (use your ears), they deflect and throw a hissy fit.

Lyrically and sonically each album is distinct! 🤔🤔🤔

I disagree. You can’t compare two albums like Mr. Morale & GNX and have all of the songs fit into five neat boxes like you can do with albums like Certified Lover Boy & For All The Dogs

A song like squabble up would sound completely out of place on Mr. Morale the same way We Cry Together would make no sense being on GNX

There not really a single song on neither CLB or FATD that would sound out of place if it was on the opposite album

I’m not saying Drake is the only artist that falls victim to this, he’s not, but Drake is closer to Future in this regard than he is to someone like Kendrick. Kendrick switches up the playbook on every single project of his

Count Me Out, die hard, father time, rich spirit, savior can deff be on DAMN.

Guy listed loads of different sounds

Is that not versatile compared to most of his contemporaries ?

    R&b
    Rap
    House
    Dancehall
    Trap
    Pop

    Isn’t versatile?

I never said he wasn't versatile but he wayy too formulaic to be called the "most versatile ever".

lol u replied to me three separate times in a two minute span … are you too slow to compose your thoughts in one go, or can you not stop yourself bc you’re so angry? Regardless, maybe log off — I don’t get on here much so you’re not going to get the drawn out fight you probably want. Enjoy your weekend!

IDGAF, Fear of Heights, daylight, Another Late Night, would sound outta place on clb

4/23 songs that would sound outta place on the other Drake album

Compared to the 2/18 songs you’re saying WOULD FIT on DAMN.

    Do you see the difference

Like I see where you’re coming from but the songs still sound very different, only similarity is that they’re all pop R&B records
