First album lmk what you think

This is actually not that bad , fam. First of , I love the album cover , something about hand drawn s*** just speaks to me like nothing else. The production is very creative , and it gives me Some Rap Song vibes. The songs at 3:33 and my top picks for this project , and the experimental vibes are always appreciated. Now , one of my main issues with this project is the vocals , man. It's pretty difficult to understand you cause you kinda mumble and the heavy distortion doesn't help that. I do understand the concept tho , but the thing that connects people to music the most are the message you are trying to convey. The beat , IMO , is supposed to support what your saying and add to the overall vibe. Like , what would TPAB be without lyrics; a really f***ing good instrumental album , but would it be considered one of the greatest hiphop albums ever made? Maybe , but you understand my point. Speaking of , although some of the beats follow good concepts , the drums are heavily lacking man. Those two songs are were I feel like a snare is given the attention it deserves. And sometimes , there is dissonance within the instrumentals that make me question if this was oversight or intentional. Also , the absence of a track list makes this kinda hard to follow but that's just me. I like how you're following your own sound , and with what i said and better mixing , only good things can follow.

1. Cover art is a turn off. Looks like a kid drew that s***.

2. Im really trying to listen to the lyrics but I can't hear you

3. Wasn't feelin the production until the track at 3:30 but then I couldn't hear you so im just like

4. My goodness the last track is so damn awful it could be a ktt meme.

I think it needs better mixing. Try sidechaining in your songs so we can still pick up a few words but also be drowned in the production like you intended.
