Wild ass post. Rip X but absolutely not the case with him tho. Maybe he could've redeemed his image later on but we'll never know
I'm not expecting anyone to agree with me, he was already on that path before he died as well.
I've seen ppl here and on social media say he deserved to die, it's crazy.
I fully believe x was an angel sent to us from whatever god you believe.
he presented us a child - not a man. a 20 year old child who was clearly flawed and clearly wise beyond his years.
for almost a year he showed nothing but positivity and his following wasn’t over looks or music - it was over the way he made them FEEL wanted and important in the world. he publicly stated that he wants to right his wrongs but he doesn’t know if it’s too late.
then, we all watched him get murdered. 8 million followers, millions of dollars, gunned down over a petty 50k. lifeless body all on the internet.
remember he died in 2018, when woke culture was first touching the mainstream. mental illness, and protecting minorities from poverty and gun violence are the main points right?
so this black CHILD, who grew up in poverty, gets killed from gun violence. and I saw people who’s entire brand was being woke say he deserved it.
his purpose was to pose a question. we’re all flawed, can humans forgive? can you forgive a CHILD, for doing the worst of the worst, if they show true change? to me, that is his legacy forever. and to me, like Kanye said, not supporting him publicly over his allegations was the true sunken place. hating someone even after such a tragedy is the sunken place. x did better for himself. we can all do so, so much better. and we can definitely start by forgiving someone who went through so much agony, only to end up as caring and positive as he was in his final year.
Dam i dont remember angels beauting girls until their faces swell up

Why do we have to infantilize and romanticize young male figures who clearly had patterns of being terrible human beings because we enjoyed the media they made for us to consume? Then use things like charity and fan interactions - the absolute bare minimum for any current day mainstream musician - to justify it as a rebuttal to their heinous ways
Like…he was an “angel sent from God” is nuts, and might be the worst form of idol worship and shirking accountability for someone you like. You guys use language to mitigate what he did like “he made mistakes BUT”. No sir. He didn’t make mistakes he made choices. He wasn’t a kid he was a grown ass man with full autonomy. And no amount of religious allusions will change that reality
you get extra nasty points for using the black kid card

What you just said and what I said can both be true

He was a grown ass man? He was born in 98 and died in 2018. He was younger than alot of posters on this site. Yall are crazy

Y’all only use this s*** to protect younger adults you have bias for anyway so I don’t wanna hear it. This wouldn’t use this for a regular 20 year old MAN
Sure he ain’t fully developed like a 26 year old but he’s well past the age of knowing right from wrong. And I don’t even mean to discount his genuine care to make positive change, but that doesn’t negate the fact that you can’t hand wave what he did away with “he was a kid who made some mistakes”

There’s also an element of you being the non-black consumer of black art archetype that doesn’t see black artists as three dimensional human beings but you think you’re better than a racist cause it manifests ‘positively’ in the form of infantilism rather than demonizing
But that’s another topic 😊

You don't even know me in real life to try and psychoanalyze me like this
This whole thread should be on p***hub
Way too much d***sucking
On both sides

I mean if you watch his documentary, it gave u a pretty raw look at who this guy was. He was a really violent kid with a lot of problems. But towards the end of his life, he was seeing a therapist, was getting on medication for his mental health problems, and was working on himself. It seemed like he was trying to do better and I think as a 20 year old, he deserved a chance. 20 years old isn't even old enough to develop a pattern of behavior. His life was literally just beginning
Let's not forget that this lil mf was a straight up demon at one point, but i do believe surrounded by the right people and being kept out of certain environments he would have been able to grow
Feel the exact same way
You don't even know me in real life to try and psychoanalyze me like this
Nah but we DO know you as Devoted, a nigga that used to be a mod on this site before you got emotional and wanted to dox another user and got yo ass demodded for that.
I’m pretty sure you was older than xxxtenlouiebag when you did that. Just because you display signs of arrested development don’t mean you can make judgement on anyone else that dont rock with someone that had alternative uses with a bbq fork.
Dam i dont remember angels beauting girls until their faces swell up
Like jadakiss said man dead rappers get better promotion.
Not to mention most fans saying he fell off musically before he dropped 14.
I really feel like if Kendrick hadnt said s*** about that kid a lotta niggas wouldnt have even gave a f*** bout his 55 second song making ass nigga that only got big BECAUSE of his violent behavior. My nigga he had a viral mugshot.
He was literally bout to do jail time behind beating shawty. Of course he gon clean up (even tho he committed a felony via witness tampering. Rip but you a dumb nigga for that)

Yes 20 years old is bruh.
For anyone else it would be.
Most 20 year olds (including ones that grow up in f***ed up environments) dont do the s*** that he do. And yall know that.
And ppl cryin bout some ppl saying they were glad, i know this forum is 98.9% men that dont even believe in having female friends, but a LOT of women/victims were triggered by those pics of Genesis and the descriptions about what XXX did to her.
Yall really gon act suprised some ppl just arent gon care he gone?
Crazy how you can be here one second making plans for the future and enjoying your day then some f***ers step in and end you in a flash.
XXX stans are so funny man lol. Yall literally go around acting like it’s a fact he was doing a 180 and turning into the Messiah all because he handed out a few PS4s for free
God sent us an angel is crazy
