That's the life of every producer lol.

The thing is all these hyperpop synth-ass vids like the last video in your post (I will say, the first 2 vids are insane but I can make a case the 1st vid would have "too much going on") that people keep posting here is that there's...not enough space for the rapper to get his s*** off on.

The reason rappers "go for Kenny's simplest s***" is the same reason rappers go for a lot of producer's simplest s***. It's all about space for the artist. Neptunes got musical s*** all over they catalog and I bet you ask 95% of people what their most famous production of theirs it's gonna be Grindin'.

Cause yeah, Kenny Beats could make beats like this all the time but then....barely any rappers would take em.

That's the problem with a lot of talented producers that don't get a lot of placements is the lack of versatility and knowing how to mold and cater to a rapper's needs.

Cause like @bloom mentioned, a lot of people are also turned off by all the stuff that goes on in monte's beats. I f***s with it but I also f***s with a lot of that left-field s***. That's not how you really get the bag as a producer. You gotta simplify it.
