Does Drake ever interview with black journalist/media personalities?

This is a very stupid question.

I JUST posted the tweet myself lmao. I don't even know who the dude is. Apparently, he has a podcast as well?

I really don't understand the need for this bitterness. Black media platforms are some of the messiest, unprofessional platforms anyone could ever get on, especially a black person. They feel crazy entitled and will actively seek to set you up with questions with the hopes that you slip up and they get a viral moment out of it. That's why many artists have stopped going to their platforms or even doing media at all.

Take J. Cole for instance. The last interview he did was with Bob Myers (the former GM for the Golden State Warriors). He's got another interview with Kevin Hart dropping on Thursday as part of Kevin Hart's talk show series. He's only sitting with people he has releationships with/people he knows don't have an agenda.

That's what these black public figures will keep doing moving forward and nothing will change. Most black celebs aren't even doing press to begin with and I'm very happy about that.

Yeah him and his brother have some podcast on YouTube. I’m more familiar with their music reaction videos, but they’ve been pretty inconsistent with their output and their content has become stagnant.

I saw someone mention that Elliot hasn’t posted Drake since he threw a hissy fit on Twitter. A lot of these niggas won’t come out and say it, but they feel that these rappers owe them. I’ve seen Akademiks basically say that he felt Drake owed him some concert tickets because he’s “defended” him and he’s a big fan. The entitlement is something else with these folks.

HipHop media is now far too intertwined with gossipy, girly things. For that reason, more and more entertainers are going to stop engaging with them in the foreseeable future.

It's not even a concern. It's just hilarious to me how upset people are at a harmless, fun interviews.

I always see niggas say talking white f*** does that mean

I’ve been told that before too

    So f***ing ignorant.

    Basically saying,

“You speak too proper for a black person. Therefore, you sound white.”

The entire black media content space is a mess. They feel entitled to these artists because the artists have personal interactions with them sometimes. Instead of them keeping things professional whenever they speak on/about these artists publicly, they get in their feelings and they act surprised when said artists stop f***ing with them.

Elliott's reaction was very embarrassing and I know his wife called him out on it. B. Dot also called him out on it (he replied to one of his posts telling him to stop and to put his phone down). I'm not surprised he hasn't posted Drake again. He's ashamed and embarrassed for reacting the way he did and I know Drake saw everything he posted. B. Dot went to the show in Brooklyn but Elliott wasn't there (as far as I know). Under any other circumstance, he'd have probably had access to Drake, even if just for pictures.

A big f***ing mess. When urban spaces are littered with commentary about people like Blueface and Chrisean Rock, then you know things have completely fallen off. There’s really nothing special or cool about going on such platforms anymore because the lines have been blurred between social media influencers and actual entertainers. Anyone can have access to these platforms as long as they have a following. I think that’s also a huge reason why some bigger names have distanced themselves from these spaces. As f***ed up as it sounds, It comes off cheap in a way.

I’m still confused as to why Elliot of all people acted that way when him and BDot still hold the title of having the last “serious” Drake interview. Not to mention Drake has actually promised a host of other people interviews. Elliot really showed his ass, lol. His rant definitely turned a lot of people off of him.
