good artists create unique music, but eventually become stale or jump ship to popular trends. great artists constantly find ways to reinvent their sound. brockhampton / kevin abstract are good, not great

I think Kevin Abstract is great but Brockhampton as a whole just isn’t great

All of the past couple albums have a ton of amazing songs I just don’t think they’ve been completely great albums

i think kevin has a super high ceiling - higher than brockhampton as a group - but his solo projects have not been great so far. i'm hoping that he turns it around on this next one!
