Sorry if this is kinda long but I fr need help here

Recently my Samsung laptop crapped out after an update. I got it as a freshman in HS and have had it since. I’m a Junior once College now. After taking it to the store it was determined that the hard drive is shot. They quoted me $100 not an unfair price imo.

My family are pushing me to just get a new one so I’ve been doing research in the $120-$350 range and honestly it’s all ass. This MS S mode s*** sounds terrible and it seems that laptop quality at this range is not that great.

TLDR: is it worth it to just fix my lap top or risk upgrading to a possibly worse situation.

Dont buy a laptop in the $300 range

Only way ur getting anything decent at that price, is if its a 550-600 laptop on sale for like 350... Usually better off with a chromebook at that price.

If ur old laptop was half decent, just throw a new drive in it.

    this

unless the computer is a slow piece of junk id repair it

if that's the case I'd get a used laptop for $300 before I'd buy a $300 new laptop, cause a new laptop would be a dual core and cheap like u said

    something like this
