Psychedelic s***. Catchy melodies with weird as f*** lyrics, alt rock production somewhere between the avalanches and blink 182, barely any rapping if any at all

this dude tapped into an alternate dimension for this one

Well to a point. But upbeat alone feels reductive. Sonically sure but in a jarring sense when set against how dark and somber the lyrics are. Exacerbated by some of the weird, nostalgic, childlike samples.

Its sequenced really well though and pulls off putting you in that woozy headspace for an hour.
