It's tracks like Clowns that make me have real hope for black music in this decade.
Niggas are just doing whatever and saying f*** tradition and I'm HERE FOR IT

it's so hard to make it easy, thinkin bout it way too much
i'm dreadin thinkin bout you, all the voices say its dust
i'm steady losin my cool, can i go on, go through being in love with you? i guess we'll find out, find out, baby...
so restless, cut my hair then i burned the bag. spirits set me free before this s*** goes bad. whew
i don't really care for the song, but i know those Our Father sessions were cathartic as f*** for her. you could hear it in the performance.
yeah i'm feeling this a bit more on second listen. it drops off after RESET! but that first half is dope
first impressions: there’s some great songs sprinkled throughout the album, but a good chunk of it is not sticking with me hopefully i’ll enjoy this more when i revisit it
AOTY for me, a true opus - took months for me to understand this album but after seeing her perform twice it all made sense. Really forward thinking and cutting edge of electronic, dnb, rnb & soul. This album will be studied in decades to come
saw her in Amsterdam a month ago, one of the best performers around tbh. she's so damn funny also
if you don't follow her insta atm you're missing out tbh

i really regret not recording more from her BRIC show. i don't think she's ever performed as well as she did at that show. she pushed her vocals to their absolute limits.
