I was moreso talking about them acknowledging that the vaccine had certain risks (that they didn’t really acknowledge at first) the farther we get away from peak covid hysteria. It went from people being irresponsible for not wanting to take it to “well no one made you do it” “there are certain risks” 😟 but I agree with what you’re saying here.

That video you showed is a nothing burger. This is typical of anything that is new and isn't special or specific to COVID vaccine. Any pill or vaccine you take can increase the risk of anything. Even supplements that contain nothing but pure vitamins, let's use omega 3 fish oil for example, has had studies that it can increase cancer. Now should I be anti-supplement/vitamins because that? There are risks with surgery. Nothing is risk free

COVID got politicized. It was no longer about science and it was more about red vs blue. Covid Vaccine was only being pushed to achieve herd immunity inorder to hasten the end of the pandemic because the lockdown was destroying the economy and people were dying. To just sit back and let it end "naturally" was not the wise solution. Obviously as the number of deaths wind down they are no longer going to push people to take the vaccine. Also the risks were always acknowledged. Fauci always said the benefits out weighed the risks. What I've learned is that the vast majority of people either don't actually fully listen to what people say or get the info 2nd hand off of social media so don't know the full quote/statement of what was actually said/spoken.

I also only got the first two doses. Never got any booster but it wasn't because of the "risk". I personally rarely got my flu vaccine prior, so I never was the annual vaccine kind of person. I prefer to let my body overcome sickness on it's own. I only took the initial doses to lessen the chance of spreading the virus to my parents and any other vulnerable people I may come in contact with if I may have been asymptomatic without knowing. I also got it to help achieve herd immunity and because I was tired of lockdown. Once I saw deaths were going down and places were opening back up, I didn't see the need to get the boosters.

That ended up being longer than I thought lol

Point is antivaxers think they are being smart or aren't falling for the "trap" or being brainwashed.

It ain't that deep. Whatever reasoning you are using for antivax can be applied to doctors in hospitals
