I hear what you saying ngl and Drake my favourite artist oat. Even though I fw this tune heavy. Dunno why everyone snapping on you but I feel like what you’re saying is a production thing more than a Drake thing.

I remember listening to Headlines and the instrumental switch at the end took me to another place. S*** like that was all over TC all the way until More Life. I love More Life because of the intricate details in the production and all of the interesting outros and transitions. Hopefully we get that on the new album because Scorp and DLDT didn’t have as many moments like that for me.

I got a very good feeling about what we’re about to get though!

Yeah production definitely plays a big part in it, I feel like some of his recent production choices like all them OZ beats are limiting the creative potential of his songs in favor of chart success. Too many trendy loops that could be given to any artist. Shame cause I’m sure 1da still got it in him to make some fire trap production
