Hit Boy fire
Felt like he coulda gotten bigger if he didn’t think he was the new Kanye and started rapping right when he was peaking with all the WTT/Cruel Summer singles but here we are
Old School Caddy still a slap
He can easily make a classic he just needs to focus
If it's not some half assed s*** it'll be a classic
Like my biggest issue with him is the sub-par ear for production, legit 95% of his releases (Besides Nasir) would've been classics if he got fantastic beats. Nowadays though he's been doing better, okay besides that s***ty Skatt Attack song
Nas shoulda kept Echo for himself.
Wasted it on an album most people dont even know exists.
Nas needs a good exec prod.
I'm not sure Hit-Boy is more then a beat maker.
so in
Subject matter and flow is what killed Nasir, not beats
It was so obvious
I'm curious as to what happened with that one album he completed back in 2016
Never completed
But some of it ended up on TLT2

I know that song with Dahi was meant for that album, dope song too
What other songs
If these beats are Hitboy level then this will be a classic. Hoping the Kendrick collab is on this

Yeah s*** is fire
Wish more ppl knew about it. If it was the single instead of Jarreau of Rap more people would've checked the album.
this is really happening huh!?
War Against Love >>
you know how much I'm anticipating it
It’s still wild how people ignored Lost Tapes 2 once they heard Jarreau Of Rap, y’all didn’t even give it a chance

Untitled is a good example cuz lyrically that s*** was incredible
I can’t front tho. Some of those Salaam Remi beats I hated has aged kind of decent over the years. I used throw my hands up when I saw he was working with Salaam Remi over and over after Stillmatic. I understand though cuz What Goes Around was one of the best songs of Nas career. But Salaam Remi beats arent as bad as I remember them.
Life Is Good production was way more consistent.

Hit-Boy's doing the beats so I'll assume they'll be Hit-Boy level.
But Nas best songs are less about the beat and all about the rhymes.
If hes not writing with a focused pen, its gonna be a mess. On some You Owe Me/Dr. Knockboot type s***

They didn't realize that Jarreau Of Rap was the outlier smh

It should've been left out lying in the trash bin
