really only the habs, nucks and flames made meaningful runs in the last 30 years or so iirc. in 93 leafs went far enough and it could’ve gone either way and we would’ve had a habs-leafs cup, but refs favoured the kings and gretzky because of all the fortune gretzky winning a title for a US team could’ve done.
