I keep seeing people using the "It gets clicks!" thing but literally anytime I see an episode go up and they mention discussion about the beef I actively ignore the episode lol apparently more people are starting to disengage with those particular episodes as well. And most of the time it is because of Mal's excessive Drake d***riding.
I'm convinced the only people still tuning into these episodes are Drake stans because they're tossing their support to someone like them.
I mean it's not like they have any way to affect what Mal has to say on this. like how can they make the segments better when one person wont change their stance on this

They’re actual friends and have genuinely engaging and funny convos. Rory and mal pod has way too much silence and they be forcing the convo, they made a pod together out of spite. Ice, ish, parks and Joe are great together (Mel adds little to nothing besides a birds perspective)

If you're basing your whole opinion of this pod off a drake centered segment, I can understand why you wouldn't enjoy this podcast.
The Drake convos end up being the most insufferable parts of this podcast because of Mal.
Otherwise it's enjoyable to me for the most part.
Also JBP def has plenty of mid podcasts but I think their dynamic has been fairly solid post-R&M

It's clear there are three mics on the pod who don't even enjoy discussing it with Mal present anymore because of how obnoxious he gets. It's not like he's really adding much to the overall discussion anyway because they hardly offer worthwhile push back.
It really just goes the exact same way every single time. It ain't even entertaining at this point. It's just old and tired.

Tbf people said the pod wouldn't last a year and they been going strong for 2-3 years now and frequently tour around the US and the UK. Seems to be a very successful pod that is growing rapidly
Outside of beef talk, they're definitely entertaining and are way more fun to listen to than 4-5 niggas in their mid-late 40s screaming at one another and ganging up on the one woman present for 2-3hrs. I have no idea how anybody even keeps up with that s*** without getting overwhelmed by all the shouting and dusty takes.
