People who work for airlines get free flights, and generally they have one companion/spouse that also receives free flights. That person is listed on their account and nobody else can get free flights since that one person’s name would have to be on the ticket.

So nobody would ever be able to get away with giving their employee flight benefits to random people.

I was thinking they just bought tickets on stolen credit cards for people and charged them a “fee”, but it seems like that would be super easy to get someone caught. The bank would just reach out to the airline and see what persons name was on the ticket then pursue legal action against them.
