Seems like he wants to pave his own way.. which is the smartest thing to do imo
Id totally agree with you if two of the singles he released weren't getting criticism/praise respectively for being exactly the kind of stuff he's done in the past.
Takes a while to get going but when it does its really good
ya was slow for me in the start but goddamn that chorus and beat is so good, couldn't help but dance
Daft Punk were a different era he obviously likes his s*** pretty separate
Guy Man was on MDM. And Drake needs no intro.
Cause I want you, baby
I'll be livin' in Heaven when I'm inside of you
It was definitely a blessing, wakin' beside you
I'll never let you down again, again

Merch for this is Crazy!

Nah I agree with you for the most part.. I meant he doesn't wanna live in DP & K's shadows, if that makes sense? Seems like he's really honing in on this particular sound & perfecting it.
sent my ex the link to the record , see what happens
we went to like 3 concerts together

Fair enough. I love Trilogy (I got it on my shelf in my room haha) but I was really hoping for some interesting and new stuff with this phase - especially with the rumors of OPN, Tame, Kavinsky, etc. But so far ive been pretty underwhelmed, even if each song is decent. No bold or new directions (something I think Daft helped him move in when they worked with him).
