i revisited What For? today for the first time in a minute and yeah i was sleepin lol it's a very solid project specifically the first 4 or 5 tracks, and has some of Chaz's best lyricism in spots imo. it falls off in the middle a little bit but finishes strong

i always forget how good of a song Buffalo is

AIR is my personal favorite but Causers of This is on the same level if not better. Causers is concise and has no bad songs while AIR has Cake.

Outer Peace leaves me so conflicted, I should have it in 3rd. it has some of my favorite music Toro has ever made but it feels like his most unfocused project in terms of sound and sequencing. relistening to What For? today it's definitely the stronger album of the two

Boo Boo is dope and nails its sound, it just could've been shorter. the second half has the better songs

Underneath the Pine is the obvious head-scratcher i guess, i find it kind boring. What For? is the better psych-pop project out of the two tbh

never peeped it actually. that's what i'll do tomorrow, dig that up on soundcloud somewhere then throw it in

i'd put freaking out EP and Soul Trash both above Underneath the Pine as well i think

i also need to check out the project with Mattson 2 i'm mad late on that.
