The one thing we agree on is that he's not doing well, but I have a couple problems with this that make it hard for me to say that "mental illness" is all this is

Firstly the assumptions about being "mentally ill" and what it means for someone, I know people who have the same detached from reality beliefs about life and how everything is a conspiracy, these same people manifest it into harmful personality traits (functional addictions, not taking care of their hygiene, hoarding) but I would not suggest they be put in a mental hospital/clinic for it

Secondly there have been threads of these beliefs throughout his whole career, he wanted to name Yeezus "Hard r cock", he was fascinated with Hitler in College Dropout days (he made people in the studio say 1 positive thing about Hitler before the session started), he had a whole verse dissing fat women in Late Registration era, he played with black Klan hood aesthetics in Yeezus era, his interview talking about Amber Rose and how he needed "30 showers, the Tyga/Kylie stuff

To me its clear he's had these nasty beliefs all along, I have a problem with people that say based on that he needs help and he's mentally ill because it's been in him all along, the public harassment campaigns of people like Jay-Z's kids and Kim are different and I would grant that aggression being bipolar caused but I dislike how people give all his behaviour the blanket term of "mental illness" when that wouldn't have been the case when he held these beliefs privately but was making music people liked, overall I have more of a problem with people's hypocrisy than anything

yeah theres levels to mental illness but its clear ye is getting worse. thing is with bipolar it gets worse with age and I know that from my own experiences with my own family members.
