Man should be forced to spend the next decade wearing a dunce cap with a “kick me” sign taped to his back.

    That’s step one.

Why is it so hard to understand that he realizes he has a problem and then when he gets manic he doesn't?

It's literally how the symptoms of BD work

People thinking he's either sincere and it will never happen again or it will happen again thus proving that he's not sincere simply don't understand bipolar disorder

Because hes a also kind of a pathological liar
I mean you cant be mad at people for questioning ye’s sincerity lmao

I would rather him do a sit down interview honestly cause I feel like he could just quickly denounce this s*** in a tweet in like 2 weeks

Yes, he can do the same but I’d rather hear it directly from him rather than a statement he clearly didn’t write lol

    Weirdo alert

  • As much as I dismissed the apologies he issued in the past, this one really seems genuine so welcome back Ye!

Shut up, youre being a drama diva now

  • bipolar can be exacerbated by traumatic events but i dont think you can go from normal to bipolar due to physical trauma, maybe the intensity of the event can "awaken" it

  • This is a real 'I give it a week' situation tbh

My dad has this. I believe him.
    His doctors also misdiagnosed him.

I love my dad. He is a great guy who did unbelievable things. Yet he goes completely batshit crazy once a year, then falls back in depression half a year later. That's how I've known him since 2016. Manic, then depressed. No inbetween. My dad lived in a fantasy world, where he, for example, would say that he was a teenager, and I was his father. That hurts, for more reasons then 1. The doctors kept coming up with new ideas, trying to get money from him. My mother informed me of this and that, "he's schizophrenic."
Years ago, I made a fool out of myself, crying about this to my mother in law. I still cringe thinking back to it. I just want my dad back, but he is gone. Though not too long ago, this month, he seemed like himself again. I know he will never be fully the same again, but he is aware of all the bullshit he said. He also cringes thinking back. People who suffer through this, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Damn, sorry homie. You’re very strong

I think he should listen to the best doctor's in the world cause his behaviour is for sure very typical for ADHD / autism + bipolar...

also at least some phrases in this def sound like they were recommended by his PR team lol and it just feels cheap to do this 2 weeks ahead of an album drop ngl, like, yh ofc you're sorry rn so we go listen to your music.

that said I do think that the statement is mostly legit and I also think the main problem here isn't that he's a hateful a****** but that he has serious mental health issues, but I'm still doubtful that he's actually doing the hard work to fully access how he got to these lows - for example by actually hearing out doctors instead of just running from one to the next until you like what you hear, which it still sounds like tbh.

You can tell this is genuine from how ChatGPT obviously wrote it and they forgot to remove the quotation mark at the end of the last sentence
