We all know why Ye "supported" Trump

He liked the idea that this dumb f*** won in 2016. No way he's still liking Trump at all and at this point he was only f***ing with him because Trump winning in 2016 allowed Ye to think that he can win too (which was the worst thing to happen)

How much money you putting up Mark ?

I feel like though this is all under the notion that this was manic episode Ye that believed and did this and the Ye in this letter is somehow different

at least that's what this letter is leading me to think he's saying

At the end of the day, there's really nothing Kanye can do to truly redeem his personal reputation.

He's in a similar lane as Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Tory Lanez, and Tekashi 69 in terms of infamy.

All four artists I named still have fanbases and 2 out of 4 of them are still successful artists but their reputations have been scarred for a long time and won't bounce back anytime soon.

Chris Brown issued numerous apologies after being caught beating the crap out of multiple women or having crack addict episodes crashing out but it doesn't do much for his reputation.

Kanye should still strive to better himself in spite of this. He should start moving like Michael Jackson in the 2000's and limit his exposure to the limelight while trying to make amends with people and do good deeds. MJ still was openly called "Wacko Jacko" and treated as guilty before proven innocent when it came to the child molestation claims but, if MJ was wilding out on the press and crashing out, his reputation would've been much worse than it was even then.

Ye came closest to redeeming his image during the Donda/Larry Hoover Concert era but, from 2022 and onward, there was no bouncing back.

That said, it's kind of funny how Dr. Dre has been forgiven by people for years for abusing multiple women even though Dee Barnes and Michel'le still have NOT forgiven Dre for traumatizing them for life. Just goes to show that some rappers get luckier than others when it comes to reputation on their morality.
