But the thing is, we still in the algorithm era. There aren't a lot of platforms that cover new acts like the blogs used to.Still very possible for new artist to break though. Just gotta know where to look

Got to hand it to you, this is a truly bizarre take lol. Music can’t go lower than the last couple years though with so many releases being delayed. There were like 3 noteworthy releases in 2 years. the anticipated stuff for this year is already better

Idk I've said this every album release for about four albums now. I think he will never be done commercially cus as long as mfs are basic af. He will be in business. But he's been artistically done a long time ago.

Lol I’ve had some criticisms for drake through the years, I’m not a blind stan. I feel like his albums could be sequenced better and there are other things I don’t always agree with. but the longer his run goes, the harder it gets to not put him right there with Hov. In 2016 when he said “I turned into Jay” I was like f*** outta here but now I feel like he really did

Smacked VoodooThere's all this, then there's also The Weeknd and Beyonce supposedly coming with new albums in Q1. There is also going to be: Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, Flatbush Zombies solo projects (Meechy Darko being the most anticipated). Donald Glover/Childish Gambino talking about more "magic" outside of S3 of Altanta. Earthgang dropping Ghetto Gods this year. Frank Ocean supposedly set to drop at some point this year. S*** even Maxwell and D'Angelo have been rumored to be returning with new music in 2022, so far Maxwell has been showing the most signs of that being likely, but I trust my sources who told me about D'angelo so I'm holding out hope for that. And even though he is going through a very bad/weird time of his career right now, Travis Scott is supposedly still looking to drop Dystopia/Utopia in 2022.
2022 has the potential to easily be one of the most exciting years of music of the 2020s so far. Going into it with a pessimistic attitude despite knowing which artists are going to drop this year is some goofy s***.I really hope you’re right about D’Angelo
