Thibs always going for his guy
Why can't we go after a guy that can space the floor and make some passes
Cause that's probably all we can get at this point. What other team really wants DSJ, Frank, and Bullock?
Also I'd much rather have Rose running an offense than Elfrid Payton. If by some chance in hell Quickley is still not starting.
Even while he was a Knick I felt like he'd be a great 6th man for us

I'd rather just have quickley start and have Payton or frank as the backup rather than go after D Rose who's going to be out the league in a few years and not really help the development of anyone else. It's a completely pointless move imo. If we're going to make a trade for a PG it should be a Lonzo, where the timeline makes sense.

Who we giving up of value for Lonzo tho?

I wouldn't give up a first round pick for him but id offer a second rounder and anyone that isnt Burks, Barrett, Randle, or IQ. Y'all gonna call me crazy but I'd trade mitch for lonzo straight up, I really don't think mitch will be much better than what he is now and I'm not tryna give him the bag in the off-season.

Pelicans trading Lonzo for DSJ and Frank is a massive downgrade. Also don't give up a pick for Lonzo who will be a free agent at the end of this season.

I'd trade mitch for him I feel like you can get a mitch esque player pretty easily nowadays
Also waiting for him to be a FA is fine too (probably smarter than trading mitch for him) and Id rather do that than chase drose, lonzo would prob come here his dad seems to want one of his sons to play here

WYLIN
But even then New Orleans already has a Mitch esque player who is younger. Along with Steven Adams and Willy Hernangomez, so I don't think they trade for him either

Lmfao ik I'm one of the few who doesn't really think we should keep mitch long term you gonna have to pay him a decent amount and idk if hes going to grow into the guy you'd be paying him to be, esp on offense. And yes that's a fair point, and honestly you could get a lot more for mitch if you were to trade him.
You lot are just denying the inevitable
Derrick Rose will suit up in a number 25 New York Knicks uniform again
And Thibs will start him over Quickley against the wishes of the fans
I think we f***ed up with mitch by not offering him a deal this off-season, his value will likely only go up after this year where as this off-season he had question marks and we couldve probably got him for cheaper

You know I think Mitch's is trade bait that's why he hasn't been given a contract.
That's my thought though, the FO wants to keep their options open.
They still have his bird rights so.
Damn if we can't develop and keep Mitch what's the point of drafting people?

I get it I really do and I really want to break the streak we have of not resigning our rookies we draft I just don't know if what we might end up paying mitch is worth it. We'll have to see what his value is.
Tbf he could be getting more rn especially under Thibodeau who milks starters. Robinson hasn't had more than 4 fouls in a game all season so Mitch isn't working himself out the game for once
