We did the same thing with Ingram

Myles is just as good if not better defensively and can space the floor, I'd send mitch and a first in a heartbeat for him

Turner also on a good contract, who knows what mitch will cost, personally I'm fine with keeping what we got but if we trading for a C this year Turner is better than Drummond

And where did that get us? Not to mention, Ingram was the better ball handler and creator

This front office has done all the right moves, I trust them if they feel Myles is an upgrade.

If we don't make any serious moves for a PG before the the trade deadline or during FA then move RJ to the point and make IQ the SG.

Have no idea what you mean with "well it shouldn't run through him" when it was running through him to start that comeback against the Nets last night where we went on a 9-4 run.

I am talking about this season to be honest. But if we don't get the PG we need for next season I have no problems with making RJ run the point. He's fully capable of doing it and it allows IQ to play the role he is truly meant to be playing.

Doing it for part of one game or even a handful doesn’t mean he can do it over the course of a full season on a contending team lol

Well I mean...we not gonna know that til he gets that time to actually show he can run the point. He's maybe gotten five games under his belt as a rookie where he started and ran the point. In those five games he led the team in scoring and assists. Pretty much came out the gate knowing how to run point. Efficiently I can actually add.

If it's an experiment worth doing, and the idea has floated around, it doesn't hurt to give it a shot. Worst case scenario is that he can't actually run PG and we go back for our search for one or just let IQ takeover. Literally a zero risk move.
