Leon Rose speaking and it is...pretty much just an update on things. Feel like he's admitting to taking an L on "missing out" on Donovan Mitchell. Personally I don't think doing that trade was gonna do much for us outside of us becoming a first round treadmill playoff team. I don't take it as an L, but we really didn't do much of note this off season besides extend Mitch and RJ, and sign Brunson.

It's still fire Thibs or trade Randle though.

People want an overnight miracle for the Knicks, but I'd rather do what we've been doing so far. Trying to make big moves, but if it comes at giving up too much we just back off and move on. Eventually we'll either draft a player with top 5 potential or sign one via FA. If we give up too much for a tier 2 kind of player we'll struggle building around that player because we'll no longer have the assets to make additional moves
