Team was 20th in opponent percentage at the rim before Mitch went down
Team is now dead last in oppt fg% at the rim. 80.2%
Behind the Lakers, who are at 73.3%
unreal
Nice to know that Thibs' days are officially numbered. And unfortunately (fortunately) I don't see us winning these next four games, so he'll likely be outta here sooner rather than later.
Y'all better be careful with what you wish for before we end up with another Fizdale/Hornacek/Fisher etc.
Firing the scapegoat not gonna fix us whiffing on every draft and failing to improve the roster every offseason
Where's the same pressure on the front office to trade Randle so Obi can finally start?

Thibs being better coaches than those three is not the high bar you think it is.

And quit acting like "Thibs is just a scapegoat". He has done more than enough to lose his job. Dolan gave the FO the green light to fire him last season in those stretch of games we would give up 20pt leads. That isn't some "scapegoat" s***. It would've been well deserved and honestly the FO really should've done that.
How you a "defensive minded coach" and you allow teams to come in and drop 145pts? How do you stress effort and accountability and let your "star player" do whatever the hell he wants even when he's having a terrible game?
Thibs and Randle aren't scapegoats. They have been doing more than enough to get the hook.
Sixers are shopping Tobias Harris around. If possible (highly doubtful) I'd wanna get in on that and trade Fournier and Rose for him. Alleviates the log jam at the guard spot. Cam can be moved to the bench unit. RJ goes back to playing his de facto SG role and won't have to guard SFs and PFs anymore allowing him to help with Brunson.
Starting lineup
Brunson
RJ
Tobias
Randle
Mitch/Hart
Bench
IQ
Grimes
Cam
Obi
Hart/Sims
If you gotta pack up a pick to get the trade done so be and that's an L on the FO. However I'd rather the FO admit that they took an L with the signing and move off of it instead of just having Fournier rot on the bench because then that would be an absolute waste. Gotta move him and Rose anyway to open up more playing time for IQ and Grimes.

knicks fans gotta stop expecting 1 or 2 players or a coach to change the franchise the problem is the team culture and management we could have prime steph and prime lebron and greg popovich and it wouldn’t matter cause NY will always be toxic to play for.

I'm mostly saying Thibs gotta go cause he already lacks in the offensive scheming department, and it is now evident that his defensive schemes are prehistoric and do not fit in with today's game either.
He ain't the only problem we got, but the way this team is run by him is not doing the team any favors.
RJ is garbage. We gave him the extension so we're f***ed
Crazy that some idiots were saying that RJ a better "overall" player than Zion coming into the draft
In a redraft man probably goes undrafted lol

Like for all the s*** we give Randle, he's not chucking up 22 shots on the nights when he can't find a basket.
Honestly I think RJ is just in a rut rn, my only thing is even when he bounces back he's just a guy to me.

Cam Reddish bringing out the worst in him
