Mar 2, 2023I'll compare the Josh Hart trade to the Derrick Rose trade 2 years ago. Both trades elevated the team to the Playoffs. I don't wanna sound like I'm jumping the gun here but it feels rather similar. But the best part about Hart is that he's younger and is a menace on defense.

Woodson & Thibs are a lot alike actually come to think about it.
Funny enough Woodson was on Thibs staff 2 years ago. Feels like they both need each other because each guy excels at one thing.
Woodson is offensive minded, Thibs is defensive minded. Their downfall was missing the other half.

I get Thibs is old school and f*** load management and all that. But I would love the team to feel fresh going into the Playoffs and not hobbling to the finish line.

Brunson was literally limping out there tonight and Thibs was leaving him in the game. His offensive outburst was never the same after the 2nd quarter otherwise he'd probably would've had a 60 piece the way he was shooting.

The list of coaches is embarrassing. D'Antoni & Melo were just never gonna click. Didn't happen here or in Houston.
Phil Jackson just wanted someone to run his dusty ass triangle offense when he was here.
The talent on the team is most certainly better though. The team chemistry is there. That was lacking last year when Randle was going through his mental hurdles but he's back now. The team is clicking rn and that makes the coach look good also.
having kemba and fournier, two defensive cones that chucked up shots didn’t help either. This team is the right group for thibs. I think he’s a brilliant coach just closed minded. Some of the defensive schemes in the nba such a ICE were created by thibs so I give him a lot of credit
