I don't fully disagree with you. Honestly, I can tell Dolan probably does not want to be heavily involved with the happenings of the Knicks. He'd probably want to just get someone who knows what they're doing and leave them to it. Which is the main reason why he hired Phil Jackson, and at the time he was "praised" for it, and it made sense. Don't know what you're doing? Get someone like Phil Jackson.

I kinda feel bad for Dolan in that situation because he tried to do something right/smart and for some reason Phil Jackson just wanted to destroy the Knicks I doubt he expected any of that s*** to happen.

But back to the main point, the narrative that gets pushed about Dolan being some kinda "bad guy in the NBA" is a bit much. Like there are people who are really tryna say he's just as bad as Donald Sterling...the reasons why Donald Sterling was a bad owner and why Dolan is a bad owner are two WILDLY different situations. The only reason why people are on Dolan's ass as much as they are is because of just how bad the Phil Jackson GM era got, and nobody could've seen that s*** coming.

General manager is bad? Get rid of the GM before the trade deadline.
