Harkless wanna do a buyout, he be making it clear that these dudes are f***in up while playing. He shows he doesn't wanna be here and I don't blame him.
Better record than last season secured
Still on pace for finishing last in the east again
Melo back next year.

I honestly hope so. I want him to be the ONLY vet to be on that team next year. If Melo is willing to sacrifice not getting a ring to make sure this next batch of young guys are prepared and able to develop properly, to me, that's the best thing any player of his talent can do.
Also if he can help RJ figure this whole consistent shooting thing out that'd be greatly appreciated as well.
If we gonna rebuild you need to fully commit to the s***.
Look at any other team, you'll realize ain't no team doing what the Knicks is doing playing bummy veterans like gibson. Play Mitch, knox, Frank, rj, etc.
Guys like gibson, Bullock, portis, Ellington, etc. Should be on actual contenders not our team.
You don't see the hornets, grizzlies, hawks, etc, doing the stupid s*** the Knicks are doing
We need to get rid of our vets next season play the young guys. The only FA we should sign are young ones entering their prime like FVV for example be and slowly build from there. Have a plan and stop with this saving cap space in hopes to get top tier FA to sign here.
We should also look to trade for promising young guys on teams that don't give them minutes. For example, we should have tried to trade for Malik Beasley and Juan Hernangomez.
We just need signs of that this organization is comcompetent man.
Aight get this dude Miller outta here
what are we doing my g.

Scott Perry is in on it too, might have to get rid of him as well
Didn't even read this when I made post.
This is what I'm talking about. F*** Taj Gibson. Give Mitch and the others all the playing time possible. Fully commit to development. Stop acting like we're legitimately competing where guys have to earn their minutes and s***.
We're the only team in the league that's not giving our young guys quality mintues. Watch Knox, Frank, Iggy and others kill it on other teams once we trade them

Frank Ntilikina will become an all star one day. Possibly even in the most improved players conversation. I just feel it. And it won't be with the Knicks.

No. Honestly they should've all had multiple stints in the G-League. All of them. Learn how to play NBA Basketball, develop a little. Then beat a vet out of his spot in practice or during a game. Every young guy has fell into playing time. They haven't had to earn it on the floor.
Experience is the best teacher, but these kids need to learn how to win and be professionals first. They looked lost out there even during the win.
Sit all they asses down and start the vets. Get some wins up. F*** the lottery because a top 4 pick isn't guaranteed to any team.
Seeing Ja Morant killing it makes me want to throw in this 20 year knick fan title my g.
Deadass, I don't know how many more years I got left in me son.

It's not about tanking. I agree that Knox and Frank probably should have gone to the g-league at one point, but we next sent them, so play them.
Look at the Hornets, Cavs, Hawks etc. for example. You don't see the Hawks playing Vince over Cam or Hunter.
Guys like Ellington, Gibson, ect. Don't belong on our team. They should be role players coming off the bench for actual contenders.
Our coaching is also bad. Randle should never be bringing up the ball. And he should also be held accountable for his low iq mistakes. This guy keeps commiting the same type of turnovers over and over it's insanity.
We should be designing around RJ's talents too

Anyone drafted here would've been in RJ's position. We have the worst development/coaching staff.
Ja would've had his minutes taken by Payton or Ellington.

Morant would've gotten minutes anywhere. He's not a bum like Frank, Knox, Barrett etc
Giannis got 24 minutes a game his rookie year cause he wasn't ready that year. Jimmy Butler got 8 as a rookie. Siakim got 15. Kawhi got 24. Etc. Barrett's bum ass is averaging 30 rn.
Player development happens off the court. Knox playing 30 minutes a game isn't going to magically turn him into a good player. Frank isn't going to learn how to shoot in the middle of a NBA game. All that s*** comes from drills, practices, scrimmages, working in the off season etc.

Tell me who have we developed in 20 years? Our development team is a problem.
Feel like our G League team knows what they're doing and not the main team, it's weird.
Kevin Knox is playing 18 minutes a game because he's a bum. If he wants to play more minutes he has to earn it and actually become a serviceable basketball player.

Playing bums 35 minutes a game just because they're 21 years old isn't going to do anything. It's the work they put in before the game and before the season that will make them grow into better players

David Lee and Porzingis only two I could think of rn but Porzingis but we threw him away for poverty draft picks and Dennis Smith Jr

What I read is that they play the vets more than their own draftees. If this is a rebuild, wouldn't it make sense to lose with the team you drafted and at least see some progression on the court and not some dudes on 1 year contracts that will be gone next season?
Who we really developing?

We were trying to devolve Porzingis here lmao
Trying to make him a back to the basket post scorer instead of letting him be a 7 foot pick and roll player where he would've excelled.
