Randle really spazzing recently
Literally with 8 turnovers
Bro playing good so far tho and the turnovers are mostly because we can't space the floor with no shooters
Team looked gassed but pulled out the W
Randle should net us a nice pick at the deadline if he keeps this up.
RJ looking rough man he gotta bounce back next game
Not a fan of dude at all I hope he shuts me up

He was the only logical pick at #3 personally I like him and have a lot of hope for him, he hasnt even had a serviceable PG to play with yet
Just means we due for a whole lotta bricks soon
Damn man they already doing this for Obi? Nigga only played one game

Halliburton looks great.

No clue why they didn’t draft him and instead selected the 20th forward of the roster. Lots of teams will regret letting him fall but knicks needed guards more than anyone.

https://twitter.com/ballislife/status/1344183506176516096Obi was who they wanted and the plan is seemingly to move on from Randle. Which means we'd only have Obi as our true power forward. We don't even have that many forwards currently, so drafting Obi wasn't as bad as a decision as people try desperately to make for the sake of "lolknicks PFs".
Also keep in mind we do have Immanuel Quickley who has shown that he was a solid pick up and has the potential to be the steal of the draft. Tyrese was expected to go in the top five or so and he ended up dropping to the 12th pick. If he ends up good, cool. We still have IQ who is good, and we still have Obi who fills a position on the roster we lowkey needed for the future.
Another thing to keep in mind for the Knicks not being in a rush to grab the big name guards in this draft...next year's draft class is going to be stacked with even more great guards, many of them are far better than the guards in this draft class. If we "missed out" on good guards in this draft class it's whatever, we're gonna have many outstanding options next year when we're in the lottery.
Was it weird to go so hard for Obi? Sure, but he didn't require us to trade any picks to get, he ended up falling right into our hands, apparently Leon has been high on Obi since he came in. Apparently he was the most "NBA ready" player available due to his physicality and athleticism and build. Guess if that was their justification it makes sense, especially since him and Julius would be our only two true PFs. At the very least we still got IQ who is looking like the kinda sparkplug guard we've been needing for a while. It is what it is
