Very bitter about Buck leaving. It was a rough go all year but I don’t think anyone would say that the culture thats come to define the best parts of the mets can be traced back to Rojas atp. Buck made a visceral impact in helping this team cultivate an identity, and that impact, hopefully, will reverberate for years to come.

Hard to believe that anyone outside of Eppler/Stearns even agrees with the move. When we accepted rebuild mode in 2017 and everyone wanted Terry out in favor of a younger, a***ytics-oriented manager, did that get us anywhere? No!

The constant regime changes are getting tiresome, and firing buck is in no way a value proposition for Alonso, who is about to play under 4 managers in 6 seasons. The players are watching

Buck being gone was all but a guarantee after the trade deadline.

new guy in charge, the Mets can now have some consistency in the front office and management.

    salute to Buck
