I'm not mad at it. Conforto was pretty good in his time here. He was a fan favorite as well, and had a great relationship with Nimmo, Alonso, and McNeil. Something like having one of their guys back can be motivating for them and the rest of the dugout.

I always liked Conforto.. Imma sucker for lefty’s wit pop. And he was a fan favorite despite his last season where he struggled ( team as a whole was pretty mid and injured 2021 tbh)

I would still prefer them pull a big fish like Robert but they might not be willing to offer up a big offer for him now that they need an arm
